Things done right

When getting on the mobile app with Wescom credit union it’s so easy simple and fast no complications. It’s wonderful. You could do everything all in one click if not to click wonderful app to have less to have it been with the bank for many many years and they come up with new ideas all the time and this one was the best.💙

Remember me doesn’t work

The remember me option completely stops working out of no where from time to time.

Let me start by saying that I worked in the financial industry for 10 years and by far I have got to say that Wescom is the best. I am definitely content with the multiple features they offer such as checking, savings, alerts, credit card and Zelle just to name a few. Long story short I already recruited all three of my adult children and my daughter in law and they love Wescom so much they only bank here as well. Now they find themselves referring friends and more family. I am grateful and blessed beyond measure. Thank you Wescom and Congratulations on your successful bank.

Sign On

I believe I am using the updated version of the mobile app. It does not recognize my credentials. So I cannot reset my password. Called customer service and was on hold +10.00 minutes. Very frustrating.

App is great

I use the Wescom app on my iPad and phone. It’s easy to navigate and you can get transactions completed quickly. The in bank staff in Redlands CA are wonderful. Very helpful and polite.

Needs fine tuning

The app has improved a lot but the Zelle feature leaves wanting more. It just feels very plain visually. No colors to indicate money in or out. And the scanning of a Zelle QR code has never worked for me. It continuously says “not a Zelle QR code.”

Best yet to come

I believe Wescom is getting better and easier to use.

This credit union has a great customer service. In my several visits I was treated kindly and helped me with all my issues.

A Credit Union for the People

This app is one more example of Wescom’s excellent customer service. It enables customers to quickly and conveniently check account balances, transfer money through Zelle and pay bills, etc. I’ve been a member of Wescom for almost 50 years and haven’t found a better credit union in that time.

Chrome browser issues on bill payer

Was not able to use chrome app to set up a new bill payer payee.

Remember me always resets

Developers need to be fired, every month there is an update my biometrics get reset and I have to login again. Something so simply yet they fail every update. No other app has this issue.

Snap Deposit is a Joke

Exactly as the title reads. The Snap Deposit feature says every single check I deposit has the "check corners torn or folded" even when I receive it straight from the state controllers office. Fix this immediately. It's infuriating having to find a bank to physically deposit a check with the technology available. At least give me a hint of a clue which corner or edge or whatever aspect that makes my check unable to be processed through Snap Deposit. Legit considering leaving the credit union entirely over this issue

Remote deposit

The remote deposit has major issues. I retook the image over 20 times and couldn’t get it right, so I finally just gave up. Very frustrating app.

Can’t log out easily

Awful update

The team behind this app should be fired. You need to test the app before sending it out. The Bozos made it impossible to log out with a floating window in front of the log out button.

The last 2 days the app keeps having problems opening

App is pretty worthless

It has connection issues all the time, even just getting the app to work with Zelle is a chore. Even just launching it as well has issues. No thanks I’ll stick with the pc browsers and iPhone safari browser to access everything.

Pain to login

Idk why the app doesn’t accept facial recognition or allow for apple pw to populate login? I have to enter login manually each time to use and is cumbersome

Best CU ever

I have been with Wescom a very long time and could’nt be happier. They are always friendly and helpful. I have financed my car, opened several sub-accounts. Easy to do. This credit union is the best.

SnapDeposit does not work on iPhone 15 Pro

I only use this app for SnapDeposit, but for some reason I continue to have an issue depositing checks with it. With a completely flat check with perfect corners on a solid black surface, attempts to take a photo of the front of the check always fail with "Oops. Check corners torn or folded. Move closer and ensure check corners are flat and not damaged." It doesn't matter if I use Auto or Manual, with or without flash, I get the same error every time. When I use this app on my wife's iPhone 15 then SnapDeposit of the exact same check on the exact same surface worked just fine. I wish Wescom would finally fix this as it's been a problem for me since I upgraded to a 15 Pro a year ago.

Audio stops playing when I launch this app

Overall a very positive upgrade. However, this app now interferes with audio playback from podcast and music apps any time I launch it. Audio just stops playing. ADDITIONAL ISSUE: I’m not liking the account layout of account details particularly for my credit card account, as it shows my AVAILABLE credit as the headline number in a larger, bolder font. I’d prefer this headline number be my amount due. As it is now, the amount due is in a smaller thinner font off to the side. UPDATE DEC 2024: Thank you for fixing this audio issue. Audio is no longer interrupted when switching to this app.

App not working, wont open at all

For the past week i have been trying to access my accounts on mobile and the App immediately crashes after opening. I have needed to go onto my accounts via PC, it’s very frustrating. May have to do with the newer IOS update. Please fix ASAP!!!

“Remember Me” feature is not working

The Remember Me feature is not working. I have to login every time I access my account. Previously, the Remember Me feature was working and I would use Face ID to login. Please fix, and I will change rating from 1 Star to 5 Stars. Thank you. Seems to be working fine now. Changed my rating to 5 Stars. Thank you!

Wescom Member

Face ID doesn’t work. I set it up and next time I log in I need to enter my password. Doesn’t give option for Face ID. Already checked phone settings and all other apps continue to work with Face ID.

It hardly works

Terrible banking app. It freezes and logs you out if you use it for longer than 3 minutes. Can’t play music while using the app. Not to mention the atrocious loading time for card services. Using this app feels like a time machine to 2004.

Slow and Laggy

Navigating through the app was troublesome as it kept freezing and crashing.

Fine, with annoying bug

The app works fine overall. There is one annoying bug that occurs when logging in. When entering login info, my Bluetooth function is interrupted.

Banking

Great. So good.

Meh.

Wescom's system seems to be out of date. It has gotten better though. It takes forever for transactions to go through. Other banks show you what your balance is no matter what is pending, not here. I constantly have to "balance my checkbook" as my mom did in the 80's. Often times something will show pending. However, if you do not add up all your pending manually, the amount shown as pending will not be accurate by at least 1 transaction. Also, I have numerous screenshots that prove their system has inaccurately calculated my balance, either resulting in more or less than what I actually have in my account.

No Face ID Log In

Disappointed the log in with Face ID stopped working. Does not same log in info. Not an easy app to use. Have to use my laptop now.

Login Issues

The old app was far superior to this one. Even when you put remember me the thing doesn’t!! It doesn’t save your credentials like it used too that’s the main reason for the one star.

Disappointing

Been a member my whole life, I want to love this app because I want to support this credit union but it is so functionally bad i really hate how it wont let me log in randomly, or how it ALWAYS disconnects from remembering the password which is bad because it removes the facial recognition password security feature on iphone every few days making the app more unsafe for the user

Freezing

The app freezes a lot, plus the binary function may turn off after so many logins. The app never used to do that.

Trash app now, used to be great

God I hate this trash app. The older wescom app with the quick preview of your balances was so much better. Now you have to type your login info every time despite selecting “remember me” they must be talking about coco because the app NEVER remembers me. Why fix what’s not broken smh 👎🏽👎🏽👎🏽👎🏽

Decent app, but buggy

Face ID is inconsistent. It works for a while, then it’s gone. Unnecessary security “feature”. To make the experience more frustrating, your account number is required to reset your password (vs user ID) I’m out of town and need to send a Zelle payment. I can’t get into my Wescom account. I lost my laptop so I don’t have my password or account number, though I do have my login ID. Face ID is suddenly gone. Essentially stuck until I can call Wescom for support (again). Called last week because there is no way to modify automatic payments (maybe a specific type) online or app.

Love doing business with Wescom I’ve been doing business with them since 1977. I rarely go in to the branch office but when I do, they are very professional & very friendly

App never works

This app works maybe 1% of the time. I usually can’t ever get past the login page it’s ridiculous

mostly okay app

Please do something about how opening the app kills whatever background app is playing. I avoid opening it when I’m listening to music, please fix this. It’s been a problem for awhile now, and I cannot fix it myself.

Snapdeposit is unusable

I like the app. And I’ve use the snapdeposit feature for many years. But that feature has become unusable with recent upgrades to the app. I’m constantly getting an incorrect error about “check corners torn or folded.” The check corners are fine; in fact, the check is in pristine condition.

Logging in is a pain!

It is such a pain to have to manually log into the app. I constantly keep eyes on my finances and the fact that the login page has the option to “remember me” but never does is ridiculous. It’s constantly updating so I have to enter in my user id and password like every other day. FaceID is a joke. Does not work consistently.

My account experience

My personal experience with awesome credit union was okay. The bank products were easy to use and navigate. My payroll checks were never posted late.

fix log in issue!!!!!

This app was always working great but now it logs me out all the time and won’t use Face ID until I enter my banking number and password. This was never an issue until recently I could always use Face ID to just log in it’s extremely inconvenient and annoying.
